Narita Airport Case:
50 activists were arrested for waging a sit down strike in protest to a decision of the Tokyo High Court on May 20. They sat for 40 minutes before being arrested and evicted by the police. Among the group was 89 year old Sanrizuka leader. All 50 activists were released on June 10th.

判決抗議で高裁居座り―東京地検

中核派活動家ら５０人が判決に抗議して東京高裁に居座り、不退去容疑で現行犯逮捕された事件で、東京地検は１０日、全員を起訴猶予処分とした。
東京高裁は先月２０日、成田空港用地内にある「三里塚芝山連合空港反対同盟」の団結小屋について、強制撤去を認める判決を言い渡した。反対同盟の事務局長（８９）、支援者の中核派活動家（６４）ら５０人は同日、判決に抗議し、高裁の廊下に約４０分間居座ったとして逮捕されていた。
